A Short History of Chris Cunningham Accounting
The Practice
CCA is a sole practitioner tax agent and accountancy practice operating out of the offices of Schulz Hobbs Accountants at 83 Greenhill Road, Wayville. S.A. My practice offers services in a wide range of taxation, self managed super fund and accounting matters. A range of audit services are also provided.
A Bit About Me
After starting work at KPMG as a fresh faced audit clerk I left after 3 years to join the Tax Office ,where I eventually worked for 14 years. During this period I studied economics at Adelaide Uni and then studied at the Securities Institute. Whilst at the Tax Office I worked in many different departments gaining considerable experience in a wide range of tax matters. I became a Certified Practising Accountant and am currently a Fellow of the Financial Services Institute of Australia. In recent years I have been proposed and subsequently admitted as a Fellow of CPA Australia.
After a long trip overseas my itchy feet led me leave the Tax Office and join a small accounting firm which later became Horwath & Horwath. I worked there as a tax manager and occasional auditor for 9 years before striking out on my own as a sole practitioner accountant. After 15 years of working out of the offices of Need & Need I took an opportunity to move my practice to the offices of Shulz Hobbs. After settling in there and taking advantage of the wide range of extra services available to me and the wonderful support that they provided me, with the advent of Covid 19 I have taken the decision to work from my home on a full time basis. I still have an association with Schulz Hobbs.
My Hobbies & Passions
Many of my clients know me through my long years of playing football and cricket in Adelaide. I am way to old to participate anymore but am a tragic to both sports. The Eagles and The Crows remain strong passions of mine. Some of you also know of my love for surfing and slowly improving tennis abilities. I have cycled more than 80,000 kms over the years and am thrilled with my latest road bike - it goes fast! These activities keep me fresh in the mind and keen to get up the next day. I enjoy my work and the many, many great relationships that I have with my clients.

I offer all of the services that most accounting practices offer, however I try to differentiate myself by offering speedy,efficient services. I am very accessible and pride myself on a strong knowledge of a wide range of business, taxation, accounting and superannuation matters.
